Most of these started as a problem in a booth I couldn't stop thinking about on the drive home. Some are software, some are soldering.

A remote followspot system. The operator’s station is a gutted MAC 250+ with absolute encoders on the yoke and a camera feed from the real fixture, so they can point a light hung anywhere in the room. Pan and tilt go straight to the mover; iris and intensity route through ETCnet into an Eos magic sheet that carries the whole spot look.
