Tools I have developed on the job, for the job. Before theatre, my passion was coding; these projects are where the two meet.

Software

Wer

A recorder for lighting techs that listens to an ETC Eos desk over OSC. The camera feed is overlaid with customizable blocks of cue information: the cue number and label, the fade, the command line, the clock. Layouts are built from widgets and switch by hotkey while recording, and every cue the desk fires becomes a chapter marker in the file. Free, for Windows 10 and 11.

Hardware & console integration

spotmon

A remote followspot system. Operators point a moving light by hand from a station built out of a dead one, and the whole spot look lands on a single magic sheet at the console.
